Waves For Development

The other night at the SMASH shorties event there were a couple interesting attempts to take the inherent energies of the local surf community and spread them out for the good of the globe. One such endeavor is Waves For Development which "creates life-enriching experiences in coastal communities through Education programs that develop youth into healthy & empowered adults and Surf Voluntourism programs that engage travelers & transform their views of the world and themselves."
