Mastic Beach

Weird little conchy town, with a funky, longboard friendly (read: thruster unfriendly) beach break. Belly to nipple high, shapely and relaxing mush. Looks like as long as there is a swell, that is how it will operate.
Half the people in line at the the King Kullen are ex-military.
Most of the bars have no windows.
Bait and tackle shops are omnipresent, yet never open.

After a long flight, a locked door and an ironic statement.
