The Learners

I've never spent much time at beaches where there is a lot of surf lesson action happening. I've always figured this was a lucky draw. But being out in the water with learners, while a hazard, is also kid of fun. Usually those days are small anyhow and it sort of pumps up the ego a little, to be honest. Plus, you get to surf around while the guys who are better than you have to bob and watch while teaching. So, yeah, there's a little sadism there too.
