All this pining away for some yesteryear, back-to-the-basics, halcyon days, wishy washy, oh wasn't it great sort of sensibility kind of gets on the nerves. I mean, I get on my own nerves. I bore myself to death with it. But still, there is something to learn from it all. Or just just to enjoy from afar in moderation.
