3.11 Project presents: "Dear Japan, We Love You"
Friday April 8th
...6-9pm
Open House Gallery 201 Mulberry st. NY, NY
http://www.openhousegallery.org/

3.11 Project: "Dear Japan, We Love You." is the first of many projects we will be hosting to raise awareness and raise money for the victims of Northern Japan. We encourage everyone to give their support, words of encouragement, and send their thoughts and Prayers to JAPAN.

The Tohoku Earthquakes struck on 3.11.2011 compounded by a tsunami, and now the imminent threat of harmful radiation activity from the FUKUSHIMA nuclear power plant has left northern Japan in a state of despair as the international community looks on in horror and malaise. The radiation levels are still rising and hundreds of thousands of people continue to be stranded without food, water and shelter. There is an immediate need for assistance, and continued need for assistance up to the next 5 years as Japan struggles to rebuild its economy and its communities. It will undoubtedly have an effect on generations to come.

We will be hosting an art exhibition and silent auction with pieces generously donated from over 50 artists. The gallery will feature newly presented painting, photography, and some sculpture.

Let’s come together to support Japan and show our love. Get involved and DONATE!!!
