So I thought to myself "How, in this day and age of mass market surf imagery, does Ms. Federova not get that this is not what surfing looks like?" So I look up Ms. Federova and among many other beautiful illustrations, I find that she is from St. Petersburg, Russia and I think "Ah, there is not surfing in St. Petersburg, Russia and probably there is not such mass media surfing imagery saturation there either!"
But then I type in "Surfing St. Petersburg Russia" into the You Tube.
Come Ms. Federova, surely you can do better.

I saw the same article and giggled at the illustration..I actually have still yet to get why it is always illustrated like that..it even looks like that in alot of cartoons...one day I am gonna figure out how to ride waves like that..straight off adolf fulltime floater
